After 31 years, Postbank will leave its building at Überseering 26. The building, which was only built between 1982 and 1985 and was expanded again in 1996, will be demolished in 2022 and replaced by a new building. The new owner of the Postbank headquarters is the Hamburg project developer Magna Real Estate. The project development Ü26 combines the realization of a modern, technically and atmospherically high-quality campus, which combines living and working in one quarter with an element of sustainable urban development, in which approx. 50 percent of the existing space is retained in its basic structure and thus the realization of the project in wood -hybrid design minimizes CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions.
